There are many ways that you can help...

1. You can donate to our Spay and Neuter fund. There is a huge animal overpopulation problem in Robeson County. The pet population is dramatically impacted by just one pair of animals. It is estimated that one male cat can be responsible for over 2,000 offspring in just one year. Animals that have been spayed or neutered enjoy better health, reduced risk of cancer, and better behavior. Your donation will be put directly into this fund. For more information call 910.738.8282.

2. You can donate various items. We need pet carriers, animal crates, toys/treats, dog/cat food (Purina preferred), food/water bowls, leashes/collars, fencing materials, blankets/bedding, heartworm protection for dogs and cats, cat beds, dewormer, large containers to store dog food, gift cards, cat litter, yard spray for ants/fleas, dog runs, rain gear, rubber boots, hose reels, and umbrellas.

3. petmeds When you purchase items from 1.800.PETMEDS (1.800.738.6337) through the link on our website, we receive a portion of the proceeds to help needy animals at our shelter. Click on the picture above to start shopping.

4. You can shop at Food Lion. Register your MVP card to have a portion of your grocery bill donated to the Robeson County Humane Society.

5. You can also help out at the shelter. We need people to spend time with the dogs and cats, clean out cages, etc. If you are interested, then please contact Shelly Carey, Shelter Director, at 910.738.8282.
